Frequently Asked Questions
Is it Painful?
Pain is subjective and can vary from person to person. However, I do my best to make sure your procedure is as comfortable as possible by using two topical numbing creams. The first is applied before starting the procedure and the second is applied as needed for any discomfort.
How is my eyebrow shape and color determined?
I strongly believe brows are NOT a one size fits all. Therefore, I do not use an eyebrow template. Your shape is hand drawn to fit your bone structure, personality, and lifestyle which results in brows that fit your facial features and age with you. The color is mixed to match as closely to your natural hair as possible. I value your input in this process.
Will I have to have my eyebrow hair removed or grown out?
No! I will map out your brows according to your bone structure and make it blend with your natural brow hair. I will only remove hair that falls outside of the agreed upon brow shape. You may come to your appointment with your brows groomed, but please do not get them waxed, tweezed, or threaded 3 days before your scheduled appointment time.
How often will I need touch ups?
Everyone will heal differently depending on devotion to aftercare instructions, lifestyle, and medications. One touch up is typically necessary and will need to be scheduled 4-8 weeks from the initial appointment. After the first touch up, it is highly suggested to have your brows touched up every year + (between 15 months to 2 years after your initial appointment ) to maintain a vibrant and crisp cosmetic tattoo.
Will my brow hair stop growing?
No. Regular grooming/waxing will still be needed and recommended.
Can I have microblading or powder brows done if I have had them previously done by someone else?
This depends completely on the client. A 15 min consultation is required to be scheduled prior so it can be determined if I am able to go over the previous work. Cover up work does require an additional fee.
